Portable Ubuntu for Windows is a cool way of running Ubuntu Linux in Windows. When run Linux starts up as a launch bar which can be positioned any where. From there you can launch any Linux application. Linux applications open up in their own window and look like a Windows app. Cool!

Why I would use this I don’t know but it is cool.

I have downloaded and used it. Basically did so to test Ubuntu without wiping out my Windows on the old laptop. Thus far I am pleased with it’s functionality. It has everything I need out of the box, but of course still adding software and testing. I love the fact it comes with Firefox.
