So what is new from Steve and Apple?


Lets see he announced 4 things:

  1. Time Capsule – Windows Home Server already does this and more. Time Capsule is just a NAS drive.
  2. Software Upgrade for iPhone – My Nokia E61 and Cingular 8525 can do this and more.
  3. iTunes Movie Rentals & Apple TV – My Xbox 360 has this and plays games too. But Netflix is cheaper than both.
  4. MacBook Air – Well it is thinnest, got to give it to them. Multi-touch trackpad, well that is new and cool too. But I like my Tablet, Lenovo X61. Of course it is not the thinnest but its got Pen and Touch support. I like that.

So there’s noting new? Anyway the best thing about Apple is that they make things work well and work well together. I know that is very important. A Ultra Mobile Mac Tablet with Multi-Touch would have been real cool. Anyway maybe next year.
