After more than an year and a half I have retired my smartphone Orange C500. I got myself a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone the W810i. It is kind of a downgrade from my smartphone. But I found that I am using a lot less of the “smart” features of the phone. What I wanted was a better camera. The W810i has a 2 megapixel autofocus camera. I used the media player in the C500 to listen to podcasts. So the Walkman features sure would not disappoint in that respect. Other than that I used my phone pretty much like a phone.
The W810i is quad band, has got EDGE, FM radio and a 512MB memory card. I tried EDGE but it does not feel very fast.
May be it is the network here in India. Anyway I could use it for some photo blogging. I am still exploring the features of the phone. I will blog more about it if I find something interesting.

Congrats. BTW, how is Nokia 6280. I am looking for a good replacement for my Nokia 3650. (which btw is huge with very poor battery life and weird keyboard. Learnt a valuable lesson – never buy anything by looks
)

Nokia 6280 looks like a nice model. Should be a good upgrade from 3650.
