The screen shot above is not a RCP (Rich Client Platform) Application though it looks like one. It is a RAP (Rich AJAX Platform) Application.
This is a new Eclipse Technology Project proposal for bringing AJAX to Eclipse. To quote from the proposal, “RAP is a new technology that promises to bring the Eclipse user interface and interaction model to web applications.” Innoopract will make an initial code contribution.
There is another project which is already approved called AJAX Toolkit Framework (ATF) . While ATF is a set of tools to build AJAX applications, RAP is a AJAX runtime with a set of widgets.
