October rain: More on Bangalore traffic

My friend Mohanraj has a couple of blog posts about the flooding in Bangalore due to the continuous rain for just the past two days. (here and here) He also has some photos on flickr.



Roads all around the city have become worse. Numerous new potholes have sprung up. The traffic situation has worsened. And I thought that could not happen! It took me two hours to reach home from office! My office is just 15 km away. Previously it was 45–50 minutes and I thought it was long!



Anyway hope the situation improves…

    Hope it is not becoming Bombay :)

    And you know, these days, madras is like Bangalore ;-)

    I am hoping not too. Anyway Madras is a lot bigger than Bangalore. For Madras to become like Bangalore it needs to grow a lot faster. I hope they have learned from Bangalore’s mistakes and do thing better and take care of the infrastructure.
