Three races in a day, two world champions crowned and a brand new race. What a day for motor racing!
Valentino Rosi finished second in Malaysia and retained his MotoGP world championship. He finished second with Caparosi winning.
The first ever A1GP was nice. Brazil winning both races. India did not do very well. India finished 15th in the first and crashed out early in the second race. This looks like a great new series. The power boosts did lead to some overtaking. But quite a few drivers look like they need to gain more experience.
Alonso made history by becoming the youngest world champion! McLaren finally got a 1-2 finish after five years. Kimi came second with teammate Montoya winning. Ferrari finished with Michael at fourth and Rubens sixth. Not bad considering their recent form. McLaren did manage to overtake Renault in the Constructors Championship.
What a weekend!
