Colin Walker has a nice post with a lot of screenshots about the new tablet specific features of the latest public Windows Vista build. I can not wait to get my hands on Vista. The new features look like they will make Tablet PC a lot nicer to use. The above image shows the ‘Gesture’ or Flicks’ support in Vista.
Anyway if you want gestures support on your tablet today, try StrokeIt!. It even works with vanilla XP. If you like mouse gestures in Firefox or Maxthon you will love this tool. It lets you use gestures in any windows application.
Anyway coming back to Tablet Vista, like I mentioned before it can learn your handwriting, improve clicking with a stylus. It also supports Ink natively in the new Windows Presentation Framework or Avalon. The vector based display framework also makes changing orientation work for all applications, even if this application is build for landscape view.
