Read this post for jokes about the traffic problems in Bangalore. Good stuff, well the jokes that is. The traffic situation is a major problem. During rush hour it takes about half hour to get past a single traffic signal! My office is 15 km from my home and it takes more than 40 minutes to reach there.
The problem is because the city grew too quickly and the infrastructure was not upgraded to accommodate this growth. This is compounded by the lack of discipline of the commuters. Almost no one follows the traffic rules!!!
