Woo Hoo! I finally got my new SmartPhone! It is a Orange SPV C500 (aka Audiovox SMT5600, iMate SP3, Qtek 8010, HTC Typhoon). The first impression is that it is small! Amazingly small for a smart phone. It is powered by Windows Mobile 2003. So it has .Net built in. Plus Orange also bundles a Java VM in it. Cool now I can program for it. 
I will write more about the phone as I use it more.
I was looking for some accessories for the phone. I was looking at UK sites and all the cost was in a strange currency called Pounds. 
So I quickly put together my first SmartPhone application in .Net CF for converting GBP to Euros. Here it is.
It uses web services to get the rates. It is amazingly easy to develop, test and deploy with Visual Studio.Net.
