Omelet according to the website is a framework for integrating arbitrary models, model transformations and model representations. OMELET may be viewed as a next generation make or Ant tool in which OMELET supervises the transformations between models that are defined by meta-models. (Until meta-models are widely available, it will be sufficient to assert that a model is defined by some meta-model.)
I cannot make out much about what it is going to do. The project website has no documentation and a few broken links. But being a part of eclipse technology project I guess it is a research project. I hope something good comes out of it. Strange to name it Omelet though.
